As an artist I find jewellery making an intriguing and versatile form of personal expression. A manifestation of embodied meaning in the context of the human form. I am drawn to it's sculptural qualities along with a seemingly endless opportunity for exploration through material and technique. It is through an interweaving of idea, intuition and process that ultimately my ideas, my values and my aesthetic are made visible.

Intrinsic to the way I work, is my imagining that the pieces I make will be worn and valued and will become a meaningful object in someone's life. It is because of the very personal attributes of jewellery that, when asked, I enjoy working with a client to create a piece for them.
